THE SAPS

The Saps are comprised of four members, Dan Lastick vocals/guitar, guitarist Dan Menoni, bassists Tony Sacket, and drummer Ryan Whitacre. Since the bands first days (2001) they have toured with many of the prominent bands in the alt/country circuit including Th’Legendary Shackshakers and Tossers. With the help four self-releases “1…2…3…drink (EP)”, “Progress Report (EP)”, “The Dirty Pee: Selections From The Catbox (EP)”, and “Finally A Band You Can Trust (LP)” The Saps have established a very loyal following throughout the midwest and the east coast. This year, alone the band saw the completion of their first record in two years and two mini-tours of the East Coast, the last ending with an appearance at the CMJ Music Festival. They have played with such acts as Dead Meadow, Gris Gris, Make Believe and IV Thieves. With their upcoming release “C’mon Already – Start A Fire” (Jan. 16th) (Team Clermont (radio)) The Saps hope to reach all the corners of the US and spread their infectious sound on anyone who is listening.
