"All These Bones and Us" marks the third release from Chicago based REGO. In this EP, Rebecca experiments with a stripped down acoustic sound, sparse percussion, atmospheric string quartet and Rebecca's guitar and vocals as the basis for these six songs that are filled with anticipation, quandary and wonder. Chicago Producer/ Composer Mike Przgoda worked to arrange artful, strategic strings parts that at times give these simple songs an operatic quality. These songs are peppered with a combination of personal experience and stories from the City of Chicago. The song “Light”, for example, tells the story of the death of a girl who was on a bicycle a few blocks from where Rebecca was tending bar. In these songs you can hear a great deal of heartache and uncertainty, but you also hear romance and reassurance. The music is personal but inspiring in many ways. “
